Wabi - Sabi Barn Digital Art PrintablesA couple of new Digtial Art Printable Packs are now in the shop. Wabi - Sabi Barn and The Beauty of Weeds. Inspiration from my nature walks at my favorite park. There is always something interesting to see. Milkweed always catches my eye. With Autumn coming I'm hoping to get more photos to work with. Hope you can pop over to the shop and take a look. I really enjoy offering these for people to be creative with. I know I love working with them for book and journal covers and pages. I hope to be posting some videos of my art journals soon. A flip through. I'm currently using some of these images on book covers. I'll be posting more when the art journal is done.

It's Sunday, should that be a day of rest? Not for me really. I'm a little more chill on Sunday but I still go into the Studio and work. I never really take a day off because the studio is in my house and that makes it sort of hard to walk away from it. It's everywhere. Nooks and crannies are all over the house. Even on Holidays when I'm suppose to be off I'm doing something usually. Living an artful life. I love it. The only time I really stop is if I'm sick. So if I stay well then all is good but I still have some days that are far more productive than others.
Today I got a lot done but not stitching related. Working on my website and shop don't qualify for this challenge but it has to be done. So I'll leave you with this. A piece of stitched work on cloth that I started years ago and I keep cutting it down and down and now I want to cut her nose off too. I cropped it out in one of the photos and I prefer it that way. This was one of my digital paintings printed on cloth and hand stitched. Then did a little painting over with asemic writing etc. I will probably mount it to a collaged canvas or something of the sort. I still feel like it is going to change even more in the process of finishing. Not sure yet. I don't know. What do you think about it? Nose or no nose? I think I have been looking at it too long and my judgement is not so great right now. Hubby says, No nose." With that thought I leave you because it's dinner time and I'm starving. Later Peeps. DL Rigter Digital WorksThe new year got off to a slow start with my whole family getting a horrible bug. Things are finally getting back to normal. I have been working on the computer painting digital works because I just didn't feel well enough to paint or weave. That is one thing that I love about digital work, no mess to clean up and I can do it even when I'm not feeling 100%. Here are a few wips some may get stitched or turn into a tapestry cartoon or not. Still thinking about them. Process... and where does it take me? I'm thinking of printing this one on linen or cotton and adding stitch. My fingers are itching to get back to stitching. I'll probably do both, free form machine stitching and hand stitch on this one. I love this natural palette. This started with graphite drawings of texture on paper with tea dyeing added. Then I worked that image further in photoshop. Excited with where these are going. Exploring mark making and layers. Also a quick note about the Shop. It has moved but I've made it every easy and simple to get there. I just have a new provider for it. Just click the shop link in my site and it takes you there. Want to come back to my site or journal just click the Back to Site button from the Shop. It's easy. I'm running some items on sale right now and new products are coming soon. Thanks
